If you’re ready to spay or neuter your pet, we can help!
HSVB is dedicated to ending pet overpopulation by providing accessible, high-quality sterilization services to our community’s companion animals. By having your pet sterilized, you are doing your part to prevent the birth of unwanted puppies and kittens. However, there are many other reasons why you’ll want to spay and neuter your dogs or cats.
Spaying and neutering helps prevent diseases in your pet, including certain types of cancers. These procedures also help keep your pets safe. Altered males roam less and are less aggressive. Intact cats fight more than altered cats, making them more susceptible to illnesses such as Feline Immunodeficiency Syndrome, which is spread by bites.
Spaying and neutering makes life easier for both you and your pets. For females, it will eliminate the messy heat cycles that attract male dogs to your house from miles away. Neutering will help eliminate or reduce spraying and marking behaviors
HSVB is not an emergency, urgent, or full-service veterinary office.
